H2S-625 H2S Analyzer | Product Specifications
H2S Analyzer:
The H2S-625 Hydrogen Sulfide Analyzer combines a rugged hazardous-area design with Southland Sensing’s precision electrochemical H₂S sensor technology. Designed for continuous monitoring in natural gas, biogas, and other demanding industrial applications, the analyzer provides reliable H₂S measurement in a compact, easy-to-operate configuration.
The H2S-625 is certified for installation in Zone 1, Group IIB + H₂ hazardous-area environments, making it suitable for applications where third-party certified instrumentation is required.
Both the power input and analog output are electrically isolated, helping prevent ground loops and other electrical interference that can affect signal stability when the analyzer is integrated with plant control and monitoring systems.
Process gas connections are provided through 1/4″ compression tube fittings. The integral sample system includes a Sample/Span selection valve, flow control, and flow indication for straightforward operation, calibration, and maintenance.
Optional bi-directional MODBUS RS485 RTU communications are available for integration with plant control, SCADA, and data acquisition systems.
H2S Sensor Technology:
The H₂S sensor used in the H2S-625 is based on proven electrochemical fuel cell technology and is designed for reliable hydrogen sulfide measurement across a wide range of industrial applications. Southland Sensing H₂S sensors are manufactured under a controlled quality program to provide consistent performance, accuracy, and long-term stability.
The sensor is completely self-contained and requires minimal routine maintenance, with no electrodes to clean or electrolyte to replenish.

H2S sensors should be periodically calibrated. Factory recommendation is every 1 – 3 months or as the application dictates. Sensors offer excellent linearity when calibrated to a certified span gas.
