SS-1400 Sample System

Low- or No- Pressure System with Integral Pump & Coalescing Filter

Key Features

Panoramica

The Southland Sensing SS-1400 Sample System is designed for applications where the process does not provide sufficient positive pressure to deliver a reliable sample to the analyzer.

An integral sampling pump actively draws gas from the process and delivers a continuous sample to the analyzer, making the SS-1400 ideal for low-pressure, atmospheric, and slight-vacuum sample sources.

A 0.1 ยตm coalescing filter installed upstream of the pump and analyzer helps remove entrained moisture and fine particulates from the sample gas. This provides a cleaner sample path while helping protect the pump, analyzer, and sensor from contamination.

By combining active sample extraction and filtration into a single permanently installed system, the SS-1400 provides a simple and reliable solution for applications where passive sample delivery is not practical.

Analyzer Compatibility: Southland Sensing 150 and 525X Series analyzers for Oโ‚‚, COโ‚‚, and Hโ‚‚S measurement.

How It Works:

Process gas enters the SS-1400 and passes through the integral 0.1 ยตm coalescing filter, which helps remove entrained moisture and fine particulates from the sample stream.

The integral sampling pump then actively draws the conditioned sample gas from the process and delivers it to the analyzer.

This arrangement allows the analyzer to continuously monitor sample sources that have little or no positive pressure, eliminating the need for the process itself to provide sufficient pressure to establish sample flow.
