About the Role
Reporting to our Production Manager, the assembly / production position is responsible for daily tasks associated with manufacturing gas sensors and analyzers. Position will be tasked with manufacturing small parts and sub-assemblies.
Main duties of this role will include, but may not be limited to:
- Mechanical assembly of gas fittings and tubing
- Cutting and striping wires using a manual wire stripper
- Soldering wires to contact pins and verifying continuity
- Using a small arbor press to punch pins into plastic
- Use measurement tools such as dial calipers, voltage meters
- Labeling and packaging products for shipment

- Good assembly skills (dexterity with the hands)
- Priority to maintain a clean work area
- Pride in craftsmanship
- Speaks, reads and understands English
- Ability to understand and remember verbal instructions
- Training will be provided for the selected candidate
