The OMD-640 combines a rugged portable design with Southland Sensing’s precision electrochemical oxygen sensor technology for demanding trace and ultra-trace oxygen measurements. Designed for field and plant use, the analyzer provides reliable measurement from the PPM range into the sub-PPM region with a straightforward, easy-to-use interface.
The analyzer features a 0–1 PPM O₂ full-scale low range, providing the sensitivity required for low-PPM and sub-PPM oxygen measurements. A removable USB flash drive provides convenient data logging in .CSV format, allowing recorded measurements to be easily transferred to a computer for review, documentation, or further analysis.
The high-visibility display is designed for readability in direct sunlight, making the OMD-640 well suited for outdoor and field applications. An integral Swagelok® bypass valve sample system allows the analyzer to be purged efficiently and helps minimize response time when making trace oxygen measurements.
The OMD-640 utilizes Southland Sensing’s galvanic electrochemical oxygen sensor technology. All oxygen sensors are manufactured in-house under a controlled quality program and are self-contained, requiring minimal routine maintenance with no electrodes to clean or electrolyte to replenish.
Two sensor chemistries are available to accommodate different process gas compositions. The standard TO2-133 sensor is designed for applications containing background gases such as hydrogen, helium, and hydrocarbons. For applications containing acid gases, including carbon dioxide and many natural gas streams, the TO2-233 sensor provides an acid-resistant alternative.
The combination of portable operation, trace oxygen sensitivity, integral bypass sample system, field data logging, and application-specific sensor options makes the OMD-640 a versatile solution for demanding trace and ultra-trace oxygen measurements.
