OMD-507 Online Oxygen Analyzer

OMD-507 Online Oxygen Analyzer

Product Description

The OMD-507 Online Oxygen Analyzer is a compact, highly configurable oxygen analyzer designed for continuous measurement from trace oxygen levels as low as 0.01 ppm through 100% oxygen. Combining Southland Sensingโ€™s precision electrochemical oxygen sensor technology with an advanced digital electronics platform, the OMD-507 provides reliable oxygen measurement in a rugged, cost-effective package.

An integrated smart MENU interface allows operators to configure, calibrate, and troubleshoot the analyzer directly from the front panel. No laptop, external programming device, or specialized software is required for setup in the field.

  • Power Configurations: 2-wire loop, 3-wire, or 6-wire
  • Analog Outputs: 4โ€“20 mA standard; isolated 4โ€“20 mA, 0โ€“10 VDC, and 0โ€“1 VDC available depending on configuration
  • Digital Communication: Optional bi-directional Modbus RS485 ASCII

Flexible Power and Output Configurations

The OMD-507 is available with three electrical configurations to accommodate a wide range of industrial installations:

  • 2-Wire Loop Power: Non-isolated 4โ€“20 mA output
  • 3-Wire Configuration: Isolated 4โ€“20 mA output
  • 6-Wire 12โ€“24 VDC: Non-isolated 4โ€“20 mA, 0โ€“10 VDC, and 0โ€“1 VDC outputs with optional Modbus RS485 ASCII communication

This flexibility allows the OMD-507 to integrate easily into existing process control systems, PLCs, data acquisition systems, and other industrial instrumentation.

Precision Electrochemical Oxygen Sensor

At the heart of the OMD-507 is Southland Sensingโ€™s galvanic electrochemical fuel-cell oxygen sensor, manufactured in-house under strict quality procedures. The self-contained sensor requires minimal maintenanceโ€”there are no electrodes to clean and no electrolyte to replenish.

Our precision oxygen sensors are engineered to provide excellent accuracy, stability, response, and service life across a broad range of industrial gas applications.

Trace, Percent and Purity Oxygen Measurement

The OMD-507 can be configured for trace (ppm), percent, or oxygen purity measurement, with measurement ranges extending from 0โ€“10 ppm through 0โ€“100% Oโ‚‚.

Sensor options are available for different measurement ranges and background gases, including specialized sensors designed for applications containing COโ‚‚ or acidic gas components.

Sensor Housing Options

Multiple sensor housing configurations allow the OMD-507 to be adapted to the installation:

  • KF-40 / NW40F direct-fit configuration for inert glovebox applications
  • KF-40L direct-fit configuration for customers needing an extended KF flange
  • Flow-through sensor housing for continuous gas sampling
  • Available process connections include 6 mm, 1/8-inch, and 1/4-inch compression tube fittings

The combination of flexible measurement ranges, configurable electronics, multiple output options, and field-replaceable oxygen sensors makes the OMD-507 well suited for a wide variety of industrial oxygen measurement applications.
