SS-1000 Sample System

The Southland Sensing SS-1000 Sample System provides a simple, permanently installed solution for connecting both process sample gas and calibration gas to your analyzer.

An integral 3-way SAMPLE / SPAN selection valve allows the operator to switch from normal process measurement to calibration gas without disconnecting tubing, installing temporary fittings, or changing the analyzer flow path. This makes routine analyzer calibration faster, cleaner, and more repeatable.

An integral flow indicator and metering valve provide visual confirmation and adjustment of gas flow to the analyzer. Both process sample and calibration gas travel through the same common flow path, helping maintain consistent flow conditions during normal measurement and calibration.

The SS-1000 is ideal for permanently installed O₂, CO₂, and H₂S analyzers where routine calibration is required and a convenient, organized method of connecting a calibration gas cylinder is desired.

Analyzer Compatibility: Southland Sensing 150 and 525X Series analyzers for O₂, CO₂, and H₂S measurement.

How It Works:

During normal operation, the selector valve is placed in the SAMPLE position, allowing process gas to flow through the SS-1000 to the analyzer.

To perform a calibration, simply turn the selector valve to SPAN. Calibration gas from the permanently connected cylinder is directed through the same flow path and flow indicator to the analyzer.

When calibration is complete, return the valve to SAMPLE to resume normal process measurement.
