OMD-677 Oxygen Analyzer
Online Trace Oxygen Analyzer w/ Integral Sample System

The OMD-677 is designed for continuous ultra-trace oxygen measurement in the sub-1 PPM region. The analyzer combines advanced electronics with Southland Sensing’s precision electrochemical oxygen sensor technology in a compact panel-mount configuration, providing reliable and cost-effective PPB and PPM oxygen measurement with an intuitive, easy-to-use interface.
The analyzer features a 0–1 PPM O₂ full-scale low range with 0.001 PPM resolution, providing measurement capability down to the parts-per-billion (PPB) level. Additional measurement ranges include 0–10 PPM, 0–100 PPM, 0–1,000 PPM, and 0–25% O₂. The analyzer can be operated in either automatic-ranging or manual-range mode.
Two bi-directional digital communication options are available: MODBUS RS485 RTU, allowing the OMD-677 to be integrated with process control, data acquisition, and monitoring systems.
Alarm functionality includes two fully adjustable Form C, non-latching relay contacts. Each alarm can be independently configured for high or low oxygen conditions, normally open or normally closed operation, and optional alarm delay. A dedicated Form C, non-latching power-failure alarm relay is also provided as standard.
The OMD-677 utilizes Southland Sensing’s galvanic electrochemical oxygen sensor technology. All oxygen sensors are manufactured in-house under a controlled quality program to provide consistent performance, accuracy, and long-term stability.
Two sensor chemistries are available to accommodate different process gas compositions. The standard TO2-133 sensor is designed for applications containing background gases such as hydrogen, helium, and hydrocarbons. For applications containing acid gases, including carbon dioxide and many natural gas streams, the optional TO2-233 provides an acid-resistant alternative.
Southland Sensing oxygen sensors are completely self-contained and require minimal routine maintenance, with no electrodes to clean or electrolyte to replenish.
