The oxygen sensor is based on galvanic electrochemical fuel cell technology and is manufactured in-house by Southland Sensing Ltd. The carbon dioxide sensor utilizes precision NDIR infrared technology. Both sensors are designed for long service life, excellent accuracy and stability, and minimal routine maintenance.
The OMD-351-O2-CO2 is an ideal solution for applications requiring simultaneous monitoring for oxygen deficiency and elevated carbon dioxide. Typical applications include confined spaces, laboratories, gas storage rooms, cryogenic facilities, wineries, breweries and other industrial areas where inert gases or carbon dioxide may create potentially hazardous atmospheric conditions.
Integrated audible alarms, adjustable relay contacts, 4–20 mA output and rechargeable battery backup provide continuous protection for personnel and equipment.
